Beam Talks is Smiling Through Light’s UK initiative which showcases the diverse career routes of Sierra Leonean women living in the UK, focusing on the applications of Blockchain Technology in Sierra Leone. The event will take place on the 3rd October 2018 and provide a space where role models can discuss their achievements, experiences and challenges with a new generation of change-makers.
The event will consist of a presentation, panel session and audience Q&A.
The discussion will cover:
- Applications of Blockchain Technology in Sierra Leone.
- Achievements, experiences and challenges with a new generation of change-makers.
- Contributions of the Sierra Leonean community in the UK.
- Update on Smiling Through Light’s activities – access to clean energy in Sierra Leone
