The ABC held its monthly ABC Connect event on Thursday 25th July. This month’s event themed African Renewable Energy Roundtable had guest speakers Mariama Kamara of Smiling Through Light and Peter Weston of Energy 4 Impact.
The conversation delved into the potential for investment into the sector as well as exploring the practicalities of setting up an enterprise on the continent. There were great insights shared by all those in attendance, including the need for more accessible methods for diaspora skill-sharing and contributing to development and job creation.
